Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Ontario Boat Ramps.

Planning information, not navigation clearance

Ramp, weather, water-level, parking, fee, access, and community information is provided as a planning aid. Conditions and access can change without notice.

Confirm official charts, marine forecasts, warnings, operator notices, local rules, water depth, and on-site conditions before towing or launching. The service does not replace required navigation products, training, judgement, or emergency services.

Sources and community reports

We identify official and third-party sources where practical. Source data may be delayed, incomplete, modelled, or unavailable. Community reports are not official and may be moderated, corrected, rejected, or removed.

You may submit only information you have the right to provide. Reports must be lawful, relevant, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and free of personal, abusive, deceptive, or promotional content.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, evade safeguards, scrape at a rate that harms availability, submit malicious code, impersonate others, or use the service to mislead boaters about safety or access.

Products and external services

Product orders may be processed through Shopify and fulfilled by the business identified at checkout. Product details, proof approval, shipping, returns, taxes, and payment terms shown during checkout form part of that transaction.

Links to government, map, weather, commerce, and partner services are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and policies.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Ontario Boat Ramps and its operator disclaim warranties and are not liable for decisions made from delayed, incomplete, or incorrect planning information.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, law, and contact

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes take effect when posted with a new effective date. Ontario law and applicable Canadian law govern these terms.
