Planning help, not launch clearance.
Ontario Boat Ramps is an independent planning directory. Ramp access, water levels, weather, local rules, and available services can change. Check official forecasts, operator notices, current charts, and conditions at the ramp. The site does not provide official navigation or certify that a launch is safe.
Using the directory
You remain responsible for your vessel, route, passengers, legal compliance, equipment, weather assessment, and go/no-go decision. Do not rely on one page, model, community report, photo, or map pin as the complete current record. Emergency information belongs with 911, the Coast Guard, police, or the responsible local authority—not a site contribution form.
Corrections and community reports
Submit information you reasonably believe is accurate and that you are allowed to share. Reports may be edited, labelled, held for review, rejected, or removed. A community report does not override an operator notice or official source.
Photo contributions
You keep copyright in your photo. By submitting it, you confirm that you took it or have permission from the rights holder, and grant Ontario Boat Ramps a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, store, crop, resize, redact, display, and use the approved image to operate and promote the directory. You may request withdrawal through the contact page. We may retain a limited record of the permission and withdrawal.
Do not knowingly upload an image that exposes a child, identifiable person, vehicle plate, private location, or copyrighted work without appropriate permission. Images may be blurred or rejected. Submission does not guarantee publication, attribution, approval, or a reward.
Canadian Flag decal thank-you program
- No purchase is required. This is an approval-based thank-you, not a random draw or contest.
- Open to Canadian residents who are at least 18, or contributors participating with a parent or legal guardian.
- Available to the first 250 approved Canadian contributors or until October 31, 2026, while supplies last.
- One decal per person and delivery address during the campaign. Shipping is included to Canadian addresses only.
- Approval considers usefulness, recency, location confidence, image quality, rights, privacy, and whether the submission adds information not already available.
- The decal has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred for payment, or replaced after an incorrect address or failed application.
- Outdoor life of up to five years is an estimate affected by surface preparation, application, exposure, cleaning, and maintenance.
- We may reject duplicate, manipulated, unsafe, infringing, misleading, automated, or abusive submissions.
Advertising and external offers
Paid placements and offers from our business network are labelled. Advertisers provide their own offer details and terms. Advertising never buys a safety claim, evidence label, correction decision, or organic launch position. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and changes
We may correct, suspend, remove, or change a page, contribution workflow, alert, offer, or feature when information is stale, a provider is unavailable, rights are disputed, or safety and legal review require it. We do not promise uninterrupted delivery.
